I feel like the Naturehike StarCore M H02 is a bit too expensive in its current form. If it were slightly cheaper, most of its drawbacks would be much easier to accept.
The table does have adjustable legs, which gives you some flexibility when setting it up. However, the higher you extend them, the less stable the table becomes. At maximum height it gets very wobbly, and even with only a small amount of extension you can already feel some movement.
Adjusting the legs is also more fiddly than it should be. Because the different threaded sections work independently, it is quite easy to accidentally unscrew the whole leg while trying to adjust only its height. Getting all four legs set properly takes a bit of patience.
The tabletop folds out accordion-style and uses small locking clips underneath to keep it open. Great concept. Unfortunately, these clips are not especially strong. In a few places the hinges can still bend slightly, which means the tabletop is not always perfectly flat unless there is some weight on it.
There are some clear positives, though. The size and layout work very well for two people sitting in camping chairs, and the table looks really good once set up. The folding design is also quite clever and makes a good first impression.
The included lamp pole is another useful feature. It makes it easy to hang a camping light directly above the table, which works very well in the evening. My main complaint is that every section of the pole is completely separate and has to be screwed together individually. This also makes it easier to lose one of the pieces when packing. Naturehike uses elastic cord inside some of its other folding products, and that would have been a much better solution here to keep things together.
Overall, it is a decent and well-designed camping table with some genuinely useful features, but a few parts of the construction feel underdeveloped for the price. At a lower price point, these shortcomings would be much easier to overlook.
